As required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS108, when turn signal is activated the white DRL turns completely off providing greater visibility to the amber turn signal. Plug & Play on Harley-Davidson® US Models with front 1157 dual contact bases and OEM Bullet Style lens. Replaces OEM Part 68168-89A. Does not fit International (HDI) or 2016-Current CVO™ models. Custom Dynamics® smoked or clear deuce-style motorcycle turn signal lenses (sold separately) required for proper installation and DOT/SAE compliance; OEM lenses are not compatible. Also compatible with Custom Dynamics® decorative Bullet Bezel turn signal lenses (sold separately). SMART Signal Stabilizer™ or Load Equalizer required when front or rear turn signals are upgraded to LED on 2013-earlier Harley-Davidson® Sportster, Touring and TriGlide models, 2011-Earlier Dyna, 2010-Earlier Softail and all V-Rod models to ensure proper turn signal function and flash speed (sold separately).
